NFC NORTH
CHICAGO BEARS – 9.5 wins
Key Additions: S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, WR/KR Cordarrelle Patterson, CB Buster Skrine
Key Losses: RB Jordan Howard, CB Bryce Callahan, S Adrian Amos
Best Case Scenario: 12 wins, Div. Title, Divisional Round appearance, number one defensive unit, Trubisky has a Pro Bowl season
The Bears are able to build off of a fantastic 2018 campaign by remaining among the NFL’s elite defenses, led by former Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack. Mitchell Trubisky continues to make strides as a passer, proving that he was worth the second selection of the 2017 draft. Head coach Matt Nagy continues his success as an offensive guru, providing creative ways for that side of the ball to thrive, sneaking in the top 10 among the NFL’s offense. Tarik Cohen becomes the new version of Darren Sproles from his New Orleans days, providing a spark in all facets, leading to a Pro Bowl nod. Roquan Smith significantly progresses in his second year as the team’s middle linebacker, flying all over the field to make plays in shades of recent Hall of Fame inductee Brian Urlacher. Remaining among the league’s best in terms of creating turnovers, the Bears bring home their second consecutive division title.
Worst Case Scenario: 6 wins, running game nonexistent, struggle to create turnovers similar to 2018, Trubisky takes a step back
The team fails to live up to the previous year’s success, due to one of the toughest collection of opponents. Trubisky cannot find consistency and the offense has difficulties putting points on the board. The team ends up regretting moving Jordan Howard, one of their most reliable chain movers the last few seasons, and struggles to replace his impact with the committee approaches with Mike Davis and Tarik Cohen. The biggest loss, however, proves to be defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, as the unit as a whole does not produce up to expectations. Soldier Field’s finest proves finishes below .500 for the fifth time in six years, looking to free agency to improve their depleted offense.

Key Additions: G Josh Kline
Key Losses: RB Latavius Murray, DT Sheldon Richardson, S George Iloka
Best Case Scenario: 11 wins, Div. Title, Divisional Round appearance, Cousins rebounds, Cook thrives in three down role
The Vikings return as contenders in the NFC with one of the more well-balanced rosters in the league. Kirk Cousins looks much more comfortable in Kevin Stefanski’s system, providing an even attack with an elite set of playmakers. Dalvin Cook has his best year now as an every down back, finishing among the leading rushers, while receivers Stefon Diggs and newly extended Adam Thielen remain the NFL’s top wide receiver duo. The offensive line finds a way to improve the protection of their signal caller, allowing their limited quarterback to make plays when he needs to. The defense has a bounce back year of sorts, led by Everson Griffin and re-signee Anthony Barr. Multi-time Pro Bowler Harrison Smith steps up in a leadership role, pushing the defensive backfield to return as a formidable unit. SKOL edges Rodgers and the Packers to reclaim the division crown and becoming one of the toughest outs in the playoffs
